Today is the International Day of Education, celebrated annually by the United Nations to highlight education’s crucial role in global peace and sustainable development. But this year is extra special for Born Free! To mark this important day, we have launched a new Educator Hub, within a dedicated section of our website – a fantastic resource for teachers, home-educators, and all those working to support young people.

“Through the Hub you can directly access all of our dedicated educational content,” explains Charlie Smith, Born Free’s Senior Education Officer. “Curriculum linked, with lesson plans and materials, our resources are ideal for primary, secondary and SEN students, together with a wide range of extra-curricular activities. With a range of fully resourced lessons, multi-lesson schemes of work, stand-alone worksheets, club session ideas and lesson starters, Born Free’s new Educator Hub has something for everyone!”

Completely free to register and unlimited downloads, our extensive range of resources include activities and lessons ideal for all students from KS1 to KS4. Each resource is linked across the curriculum, so you can support your students’ learning in science, maths, art, English, geography, citizenship and ethics.
