In a special year for our charity, we've got wild highlights and superb news!

Born Free has part-funded an essential aviary, helping to rescue and rehabilitate gulls, and a variety of other birds, in Worthing, UK.

Thanks to your kind donations, two rescued lion brothers are flourishing in their temporary home in Belgium, with plans well underway to move them to our sanctuary in South Africa, in the coming year.

We are extremely sad to share the news that Major, one of our precious rescued lions who lived at Ensessa Kotteh, our wildlife centre in Ethiopia, passed peacefully recently due to old age.

It is with great sadness that Born Free has had to say goodbye to Sami, our beloved rescued leopard, cared for by our South Africa team for the last 22 years.
