The beautiful lion sculptures from the Born Free Forever exhibition are available for sale.

Born Free Forever is an extraordinary and powerful public art installation of beautiful lion sculptures, created by the world-renowned creative force that is Gillie and Marc (Love The Last), and is a celebration of Elsa the lioness – Born Free’s original inspiration and a potent symbol of hope for wildlife. 

Every lion has their own tale to tell and each has a special affinity with Born Free. From Christian, the cub purchased from Harrods and successfully returned to the wild, to Makena, the Kenyan lioness living in the Born Free-protected Meru National Park, now with cubs of her own.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE

Proceeds from the sale of the statues will be used to recover the upfront costs of their creation. After which, 100% of profits will be used to support Born Free’s work.

1. Our website Terms and Conditions apply, unless otherwise stated below.
2. The price and description of the sculptures and other associated merchandise are displayed on our website.  Such information is subject to change without notice. 
3. The price you shall pay for a bronze sculpture is the price displayed on our website at the time we receive your order. The price of all bronze sculptures and other exhibition-related merchandise is inclusive of VAT if this applies but is exclusive of delivery cost.
4. All bronze exhibits will tour throughout 2022. However, a sculpture can be purchased by reserving it with a non-refundable 20% deposit. 
5. This sculpture will thereafter no longer be available for sale, but it will continue to tour with the full installation and be used to raised funds for Born Free projects through events, talks, Text to Donate, QR code linking to donation pages on the website and other fundraising and PR activity.
6. Delivery of the sculptures can only take place after the balance payment has been received in full, when the exhibition has closed, and the tour has terminated. 
7. Delivery options and associated costs (including buyers insurance) will be discussed with you at the time of your balance payment being made and we can advise on suitable couriers or shippers. All payments to a courier and any associated transport requirements remain the responsibility of the buyer.  
8. Ownership of the sculpture passes to you at the time of receipt of the balance payment.  If the sculpture is not paid for in full it shall remain the property of Born Free or Gillie and Marc (artists) until payment is received from you.  
9. If full payment is not received within 14 days of the closure of the exhibition the sculpture will be made available for resale.
10. Each installation is sold as displayed and every attempt will be made to retain the quality and integrity of each sculpture whilst on tour.  Should the sculpture be irreparably damaged in any location throughout the duration of the exhibition or whilst being transported to any location within the official tour destinations, Born Free will refund the deposit to you. Buyers should note that each lion sculpture is made of bronze and will natural weather and age during its time on tour. This process is not covered by this clause. 
11. All sculptures will be fully insured by Born Free for the duration of the exhibition and the tour.  
12. COVID19: Deliveries could be affected, and timelines increased due to the current restrictions around the COVID-19 pandemic.
