STOP INDONESIAN TRAVELLING DOLPHIN SHOWS

Thank you for choosing to take action and write to the Environmental & Forestry Minister of Indonesia to urge her to stop travelling dolphin shows once and for all.

Below you will find a pre-written letter that's ready for you to send exactly as it is, or you can adapt as you wish.

By filling in your details in the form below, your letter will be sent directly to the Environmental & Forestry Minister of Indonesia.

We'd like to thank you for taking a few minutes to support our mission to end these travelling dolphin shows once and for all.

To Her Excellence Siti Nurbaya Bakar, I am writing to you concerning the abuse of dolphins in travelling dolphin shows across Indonesia. I find these shows to be a horrific spectacle of animal cruelty and exploitation: forcing dolphins to perform tricks in makeshift pools before being packed up and transported to the next location is completely unacceptable. It is very troubling that this practice is apparently permitted by your Government. The keeping of dolphins in small, barren pools can never provide such highly intelligent, social and emotional animals with an acceptable standard of welfare; so far removed from the ocean in which they are adapted to live. I am joining with animal charity, Born Free, in calling on your Government to cease permitting travelling dolphin shows and to put a stop to this cruelty once and for all. Thank you for your time and consideration. Yours respectfully and sincerely,
