GARY HODGES' LOVE AND PROTECTION RAISES THOUSANDS FOR WILDLIFE

Wildlife artist and animal champion, Gary Hodges, was joined by actress and Born Free patron Rula Lenska, to host a spectacular exhibition and charity auction at Wild in Art, Gloucester, on Saturday 21st July 2018.

The exhibition featured 49 unique, hand-embellished limited edition Gary Hodges prints, co-signed by Born Free Co-Founder & Trustee, Virginia McKenna OBE, and Rula Lenska.

15 of the prints were auctioned on the night by celebrity auctioneer and Born Free patron James Lewis, raising a staggering £22,000. The remaining prints were sold via online auction over the two-week exhibition.

Gary, who is the UK’s best known pencil artist, and longstanding patron of Born Free, generously chose Born Free to be one of six beneficiaries, which included David Shepherd and EIA. Each charity will receive approximately £9,000 from proceeds of the Love and Protection exhibition.
