In honour of what would have been the 100th Birthday year of Bill Travers MBE, we are celebrating our fearless Co-Founder’s legacy by designating 2022 our 'Year of the Lion'.

Our year of action includes a UK-wide exhibition - Born Free Forever - with 25 stunning life-size, bronze lion sculptures touring the country to raise awareness and vital funds for lions through the Forever Lions Fund, set up in Bill's memory.

We've also announced our huge, summer fundraiser, Walk on the Wild Side, challenging everyone to walk 20,000 steps in a day by the 10th August, World Lion Day, with each of the steps representing a living lion left in the wild.

Please come and visit the exhibition at Clifton Downs, marvel at the stunning sculptures and learn the true stories behind the Born Free lion pride, until the end of September 2022.

We are proud to have joined forces with the world’s favourite monumental artists Gillie and Marc to present this landmark installation to raise awareness and vital funds for our lion conservation work.
