Born Free, the internationally renowned animal welfare and wildlife conservation organisation, is seeking to recruit a Conservation Projects Officer, based at our Head Office in Horsham, West Sussex.
Working as part of a busy and dynamic team, this is an exciting opportunity to work in one of the fastest growing international wildlife charities, with a recognised and high profile media presence. Born Free is dedicated to stop animal suffering and to protect animals in the wild; it has a wide portfolio of projects dealing with some of the worlds most endangered species.
We are looking for a motivated individual who has some relevant experience in delivering support to conservation programmes, a good understanding of the current and emerging threats to wildlife worldwide, and is familiar with ecological and social science tools to address conservation problems. The successful candidate will be a reliable and enthusiastic team player with some management and people skills, and the ability to support the Conservation Team to deliver a well-managed portfolio of field conservation projects world-wide.

This is a role with a minimum salary of £23,000 (dependent on qualifications and experience) and 20 days holiday per annum. This position is based full-time in the Horsham office with some international travel possible.
