Born Free Foundation - Keep Wildlife in the Wild

Independent book publisher, Bridge House Publishing, have chosen Born Free Foundation as their 2010 annual charity.

Bridge House Publishing are actively fundraising, and have pledged to donate £1 from the sale of each copy of their first charity animal anthology, Gentle Footprints, to the Born Free Foundation. Many of the authors have also opted to donate their royalties.

Born Free Founder Virginia McKenna OBE wrote the books’ foreword and Richard Adams; author of Watership Down, wrote one of the 18 short stories.

Gentle Footprints was launched at the acclaimed Hay on Wye literary festival in June 2010, and has already caught the attention of celebrity animal activist and ex Queen Guitarist Brian May. (Pictured below at the launch)
