Internationally acclaimed musician Panos Karan will perform in London this summer in aid of wildlife charity Born Free and ‘Keys of Change’

Tickets are now available for a very special charity recital by renowned pianist and conductor Panos Karan, who will perform at the prestigious Cadogan Hall in London on Monday 11th June.

The exclusive event will be hosted by Born Free’s President and co-founder Will Travers OBE, and feature Panos performing Chopin’s 24 evocative and popular Études Opus 10 and Opus 25, together with Debussy’s Étude No 1 ‘Pour les cinq doigts’.

Panos will also speak about his charity Keys of Change, which uses music to improve the lives of young people living in extraordinary circumstances around the world.

Born Free’s co-founder, much-loved actress Virginia McKenna OBE, said: “I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to announce the launch of ‘Children & Wildlife in Harmony.’ This glorious project brings together three of my greatest passions – classical music, and the well-being of wild animals and children. I do hope you will join us for this very special evening.”

Panos added: “Playing Chopin 24 Etudes in Cadogan Hall, one of London's most elegant venues, for such an exclusive recital is an astounding feat for any pianist. More importantly, I am truly delighted to be part of an event that is raising funds for the admirable work of two unique charities, supporting, at the same time, wildlife and children in need around the world."

Greek-born Panos has performed in some of the world’s top venues, including Carnegie Hall in New York, Boston Symphony Hall and Tokyo Suntory Hall. He has a passion for bringing classical music to deprived audiences, improving the lives of children and young people in need through music education.

Money raised through this special performance will support Born Free’s Global Friends campaign, which works with the schools and communities living and working amongst its wildlife projects throughout Africa and Asia, as well as Keys of Change’s global musical education programmes.

Tickets are available from £15. The exclusive £75 ticket package includes a private pre-concert reception and the opportunity to meet Panos Karan and Will Travers.
