Born Free Foundation - Keep Wildlife in the Wild

Today, an exhibition in the European Parliament highlights the plight of animals in zoos and calls for vast improvements in their welfare.

The Born Free Foundation and European Coalition, ENDCAP, are hosting the week-long event together with ALDE MEP, Bill Newton Dunn, to promote their extensive investigation of European zoos, The EU Zoo Inquiry. The event on the 3^rd Floor of the Parliament is officially launched tonight at a reception for MEPs, European Commission and the press at 6.30pm (Brussels time) with guest speaker, Virginia McKenna OBE.
