Born Free Foundation - Keep Wildlife in the Wild

Yvonne Lamden Cooper

Yvonne Lamden Cooper is a self-taught artist living in Norfolk and has kindly offered to donate 20% from the selling price of her ‘Study of a Lioness’, ‘Just Looking’ and ‘Brown Hare Study’ prints to Born Free with all funds generated going towards our work protecting both wildlife in the UK and lions in Africa.

Yvonne uses soft pastel and pastel pencil which enables her to obtain the beautiful detail in her work. British wildlife, particularly the brown hare, has played a major part over the years in the recognition of her ability as an acclaimed artist, along with her other wildlife paintings.

She exhibits with and is a member of The Wildlife Art Society International (TWASI). At the TWASI exhibition in 2011 she won the Simon Combes award for the best African wildlife exhibit. 2012 brought a Bronze Citation, in May 2014 at the TWASI exhibition Yvonne was delighted to be presented with the Founders Award for the best British wildlife painting and in 2015 she was awarded a second Bronze Citation.  Over the past few years she has been selected to exhibit at the National Exhibition of Wildlife Art (NEWA) in Cheshire.

Yvonne is passionate about animal conservation both in the UK and internationally and is very pleased for the chance to support the Born Free Foundation.
