The Cheetah Family

Born Free has just rescued four adorable cheetah cubs. The furry foursome, two brothers and two sisters, are just six months old. They were being sold as exotic pets and were confiscated in Somaliland.

The cubs now reside at Born Free’s Wildlife Rescue, Conservation and Education Centre, Ensessakotteh

The cubs were named by 11-year old Jessica King, who chose four wonderful names, all with special meanings.  The brothers are now called Namazzi (water of life) and Dembe (peaceful) and their sisters are Lakota (friend) and Miremba (Goddess).

The Cubs have recently been joined by Little Mo, who was rescued by Born Free from the wildlife trade in Somaliland. Thanks to Born Free adopters, Mo now has the comapany of four new brothers and sisters.

Adopters are urgently needed to fund their daily food and care.
