Become a volunteer

Got a little spare time on your hands?  Like to do something directly to help animals?  We’d love to welcome you as a volunteer. 

There are lots of opportunities here in the UK.  You could join the team at our busy Horsham office and become really hands-on involved in our work for wildlife.  Or perhaps you’d prefer to be a campaigner and get really active for animals by joining Activate. 

Plus there’s a range of ways for you to help other organisations by becoming an overseas volunteer.

Volunteer – Campaigns Department, Horsham office

Born Free is seeking an undergraduate or graduate volunteer to assist for approximately four months in our Campaigns department, ideally starting Monday 22nd June, 2009. Based at the Headquarters in Horsham, West Sussex, the main duties will include budget and data management, research in European animal welfare policy and support of office and field staff. An eye for detail, methodical work ethic, and commitment to accuracy are essential. The opportunity is ideally suited to a hard-working, conscientious individual keen to gain experience with a dynamic, international NGO in the field of animal welfare and conservation.
