"I really can’t wait for this year’s Marathon. I’ve done it twice before and haven’t quite managed to break the four-hour mark so I’m determined to do cross the line with it saying three hours something! I cannot be prouder to be running for Born Free. Such a wonderful organisation that works tirelessly to protect the most magnificent of animals!" Darren

"I’m both nervous and excited about running this years marathon for the first time. It’s the trepidation of the unknown, but having supported my husband twice before I cannot wait to be swept along in the incredible atmosphere of the event. I’m extremely proud to be raising money for the Born Free Foundation, the work they do is invaluable protecting animals and seeing them released back into the wild." Katie

"I decided I wanted to do a marathon three years ago and it had to be the 'big' one, The London Marathon. It's so hard to get into now, which is why I chose to run for the Born Free Foundation. The work that they do for wild animals around the globe is amazing. And if I can help them to look after my favourite animal the Lion just by raising some money, then 26.2 miles will be worth every step." - Martin Sponsor Martin here

I’m a serving soldier who’s always had a passion for wildlife and conservation. I have donated to your charity for a few years and I’m always impressed with the efforts to help protect and save animals across the world.

I now have a two year old daughter, Scarlett who also shares my love for wildlife. I’m raising money to continue to support the amazing work Born Free does in protecting these animals, so that hopefully one day Scarlett can see them where they belong - in the wild.

Harry Langton from London

"I am running the marathon for Born Free because I love all the incredible & inspiring work that the whole Born Free fabulous family do for endangered species, animals & all creatures great & small across the globe."
