Born Free Foundation - Keep Wildlife in the Wild

Thank You Runners!

The Born Free Run Wild Team were amazing.

All our runners achieved so many goals including raising funds to help us in our work helping animals.

We thank each of them and their families and friends for all the effort and support.

Don’t forget you can Run Wild for Born Free in next year’s marathon by entering into their ballot system. And it's not too late to sponsor this year's runners below.

Lewis Bedford - "I am running the London Marathon for Born Free as it is a chance to raise important funds for an even more important cause.  I feel privileged to be able to run in this globally recognised event to raise money for Born Free Foundation projects and it is also a great way to raise awareness for their work.  I have been involved with the charity through my cricketing career and feel that running the London Marathon is a great way to contributing towards Born Free being able to achieve their goals."

Lisa Richardson
Lisa Richardson

Lisa Richardson - I am proud and honoured to run the London Marathon for Born Free.  My friend ran it last year for the Born Free Foundation and I became aware of such a worthy charity.  I have always had a passion for caring for animals and I hope I can help raise some of the valued funds needed for Born Free to help make a difference.

J.edgworth

Jeanette Edgworth - I was 6 years old when a teacher came into school with her medal after successfully completing the London Marathon. I was so envious, it soon became my dream to take part. Until now I have not been successful in obtaining a space but feel truly honoured that Born free have given me this amazing opportunity to fulfil a dream whilst raising funds for a very worthwhile cause.
