Born Free Foundation - Keep Wildlife in the Wild

Holidays

Holidays and challenges Logo

Born Free offers you a unique range of great-value, tailor-made holidays.  Our trips are really special and offer a unique, not to be missed opportunity.  Because you won’t just enjoy superb destinations and see wonderful wildlife, you’ll also get to visit our projects, see our work in action, meet our teams and visit our rescue animals.

And when you come on a Born Free holiday you will be raising funds to help the animals you visit.  Proceeds from every trip we organise directly support and protect wild animals in need.

The Adventure Company

the adventure company

The Adventure Company supports the work of Born Free by including Ngamba Island Chimpanzee sanctuary on two of its three of its itineraries to Uganda. Ngamba Island is incorporated into the longer itineraries. These are just over two weeks long and are comfortable camping trips; one is for adults and they have a new teenage family trip. Both of these trips visit Kibale, Mweya, Chambura and Bwindi as well as Lake Bunyonyi, Lake Mburo and of course the Kampala and Entebbe region. They also have a lodge based trip that is 11 days long. All trips provide great opportunity to see gorillas, chimpanzees and many species of monkey as well as antelope, elephant, hippo, buffalo and lion.

The Adventure company are also collecting money for Born Free to support the Bear Bile sanctuaries in Vietnam and China.

The Adventure Company aims to run all of their tours in a responsible and respectful manner with regard to both the communities whose land we travel through and the wildlife that lives there. www.adventurecompany.co.uk
