To collect money on private property you need the owner or landlord’s permission.
To collect on the street, you require a license from your local authority or council. Please check with Born Free before applying to ensure no other collections are taking place locally.
Please do not hold a balloon race at your event. These are damaging to wildlife and the environment.
Please do not place Born Free Collection Boxes in any zoo. Born Free is opposed to keeping wild animals in captivity.
If you hold a pet show in aid of Born Free, please ensure all animals are in excellent health and not ill-treated in anyway. Born Free does not endorse the use of any exotic animal (eg reptiles, insects, birds) at your event.
