Born Free Foundation - Keep Wildlife in the Wild

BORN FREE FOUNDATION TEAM AND KUONI VOLUNTEERS SKYDIVE FOR WILD ANIMALS 

To mark the 25th Anniversary of the Born Free Foundation, 25 dedicated and intrepid Born Free staff and supporters, including friends from Kuoni, took to the skies on September 25th 2009 for a spectacular skydive. Their objective - to raise £25,000 to help save endangered wildlife.  

Born Free’s daring skydivers jumped from an exhilarating height of 10,000 feet. All landed safely much to the relief of CEO Will Travers who went along to support the team.  

Will said, “I counted them all out and I counted them all back – phew!  There is a short heart-stopping moment when you see a tiny black speck falling out of a plane and plummet towards the earth.  Each second goes by like an eternity until you see a plume of colour as the shoot opens and then it is sheer joy to watch your colleagues land safely, elated about the experience and proclaiming to one and all “When can I do it again?”  Well done to everyone”
