Zoo Checkers – help us help captive wild animals worldwide. This unique volunteer programme trains members of the public from both the UK and abroad to act as our extra ‘eyes and ears’, visiting animal attractions in your local area or whilst on holiday and providing us with essential up-to-date information.

Activate! – unique to the Born Free Foundation, this co-ordinated letter writing team focuses on a variety of issues concerning animal welfare, conservation and the environment. Every two months an info pack is sent out detailing one or more issues which would benefit from the action of our dedicated team. Sometimes the problems facing animals can seem overwhelming but don’t despair, write a letter instead! Letters written from the heart in your own words have a powerful impact. more >
