Born Free Foundation - Keep Wildlife in the Wild

Situated just 30km from Addis Ababa, an impressive natural, part-wooded area of 77 hectares (190 acres) has been identified as the site for the Centre by His Excellency, President Girma Wolde-Giorgis and allocated to Born Free Ethiopia by the Regional Government of Oromiya.

The land agreement grants the land to Born Free Foundation Ethiopia for an indefinite period in order to establish a Wildlife Rescue, Conservation and Education centre. The agreement was signed by Born Free Foundation Ethiopia and Land and Environmental Protection Bureau of the Oromiya Regional Government in the presence of His Excellency President Girma Wolde-Giorgis.
