Wolf Day in Dinsho

At the Wildlife Rescue Centre, an Environmental Education Centre and holistic education programme will offer both ‘outreach’ (taking environmental education classes to schools) and ‘centre-based’ programmes for schools, nature clubs, colleges and universities.

Education will not be focussed simply on the rescued animals at the Centre.  Born Free believes that the Education Centre and guided tours around the site should offer an experience of the landscape, presenting local relevant information, such as the importance of the biodiversity of species including the insects and flora present on-site, as well as over-arching National and even global environmental concepts such as the illegal wildlife trade, habitat protection, community support through to climate change and climate change.

Born Free hopes the Centre will offer a truly all-embracing, memorable educational experience for the nation as well as international visitors.
