Born Free supports the world’s longest field study of wild orca, in Canada.  Orcas are found in every ocean, but the ‘resident’ orcas off British Colombia are the best-studied community of whales in the world, monitored by Orcalab for over 30 years.  Born Free has supported Dr Paul Spong’s Orclab team since 1994 as they work to understand the behaviour of this population and safeguard their future.
