Born Free Foundation - Keep Wildlife in the Wild

Ng’onzini School is located on the edge of the Mwalagangie Elephant Sanctuary, south of Mombasa.  Thanks to the Shamley Green Village Project, set up by Born Free’s chief executive Will Travers, seven classrooms have been funded, together with desks, blackboards, concrete floors, books, toilets, running water, sport-strips and even high-school scholarships.  Born Free helped develop a wildlife and environmental area at the school, which now teaches environmental studies.
