		<description>Fantastic news, though do share Born Free&#039;s concerns for the fate of the animals currently owned by the circus.  If there&#039;s anything we can do to stop them being transferred to circuses abroad please let us know.  Is Longleat (who took Anne the elephant) or any of the other safari parks an option?  Still sadly captivity but certainly better than the miserable lives they&#039;ve led in the circus.

Alas I&#039;m not as hopeful that the govt will end the proposed temporary licensing process.  As requested in the BF members&#039; magazine I emailed Defra on 23 June.  Got an automatic response saying they&#039;d reply within 20 days, alas I&#039;m still waiting.  Says it all.</description>
