Born Free Foundation - Keep Wildlife in the Wild

Like all species of bears, sloth bears are inquisitive, flexible and opportunistic, adept at exploiting their mountain forest habitat.  Sloth bears are under threat, due to loss of habitat and because they suffer terrible exploitation at human hands.  Sloth bears are caught from the wild and trained on hot plates to ‘dance’ to entertain audiences.  Born Free is taking action to stop this exploitation and help care for rescued ex-dancing bears.
