Born Free Foundation - Keep Wildlife in the Wild

With the help of supporters, Born Free rescues captive cheetahs as well as leopards, lions and tigers from lives of misery, raising awareness and providing lifetime care in spacious natural habitat sanctuaries in Africa and India.  Born Free is currently fundraising to build a major new Wildlife Rescue, Conservation and Education Centre near Addis Ababa, capital of Ethiopia.  Here rescued cheetahs, as well as lions, will be given large natural habitat enclosures, with plenty of space, indigenous trees, dense undergrowth to explore and sandy soil to roll in.  Cheetahs love a good view of their surroundings and they will live high up, looking down over undulating hills and forests.
