Save Amboseli Update - 11th May

Dear Friends and Colleagues
Deeply disappointing news. We were all prepared to attend the
High Court and discuss the Amboseli situation but the legal
representative of the Olkejiado County Council was apparently
unwell and therefore unable to attend. In his absence, the Hearing
did not proceed!
A new date has been set for 14th July and we shall prepare
once again for that meeting. How frustrating!
I have asked our lawyers to seek the advice of the Court .
We are asking that if legal representatives of any party are
unable to attend the Hearing set for 14th July, that the Hearing
should go ahead anyway, and that an alternative legal representative
must attend – surely this wait cannot go on.
I am as concerned about this situation as I am sure you are
but it is, sadly, out of our hands.
