The elephants are created by ‘Wild in Art’, who brought painted cows to many towns.  The elephant sculptures form a plain ‘canvas’ which are sponsored and turned into a work of art and then sold at charity auctions.

The first herd of elephants were seen gathering in Norwich between June 23rd - August 31st.  They are then to be spruced up and auctioned off in Norwich in aid of Born Free and Clic Sargent on 23rd September 2008.
